APSA International President Visits Malaysia Chapter to Strengthen Regional Collaboration

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – May 27–30, 2024 – The President of the Asia Pacific Security Association (APSA) International, Mr. Jincai Yang, accompanied by the Secretary General of APSA International, conducted an official visit to the APSA Malaysia Chapter as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen regional cooperation and promote security professionalism across Southeast Asia.

Over the four-day visit, Mr. Yang and the APSA International delegation participated in a series of strategic engagements, including high-level meetings with APSA Malaysia leadership, site visits to key public and private security facilities, and interactive sessions with industry partners and local members.

In his address, Mr. Jincai Yang emphasized the importance of inter-chapter synergy to address the region’s evolving security challenges:

“APSA Malaysia plays a strategic role within the regional security network. This visit marks a significant step toward closer collaboration in technology advancement, professional training, and cross-border security policy development.”

Key highlights of the visit included:

  • Official meeting with the APSA Malaysia Chapter Executive Committee

  • Dialogue sessions with government representatives and private sector partners

The Chairman of APSA Malaysia Chapter expressed deep appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed the chapter’s commitment to supporting APSA’s regional initiatives:
