The 29th Asia Pacific Security Association (APSA) International Conference, held in conjunction with the 2025 Asia Pacific Humanitarian Emergency Response Organization (APHERO) International Forum, concluded successfully at the Galaxy International Convention Center (GICC), Macao, China, October 25, 2025.

Carrying the joint theme “Anchor · Build · Benefit Asia Pacific – Sustainable Development of Humanitarianism,” the four-day event convened security professionals, humanitarian experts, and institutional leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region.

The program included opening and plenary sessions, honorary certificate presentations, panel discussions, and the Token Exchange Ceremony, which symbolized friendship and collaboration among APSA member nations.

A major highlight was the Panel Discussion titled “Mitigating Climate Change and Strengthening Disaster Resilience,” featuring experts from Hong Kong, Macao, Nepal, India, and Indonesia.

Representing Indonesia, Mr. Dino Hindarto, President of APSA Indonesia Chapter, shared perspectives on regional security cooperation and climate-risk mitigation, emphasizing the role of private security and humanitarian synergy in achieving long-term community resilience.

The conference reinforced APSA’s continuing mission to enhance regional security governance, disaster preparedness, technological innovation, and humanitarian coordination.

The event was hosted by APSA Macao China Chapter in collaboration with APHERO, and supported by the Government of Macao SAR, Galaxy Entertainment Group, and several academic and research institutions in China.
