The 29th Asia Pacific Security Association (APSA) International Annual General Meeting (AGM) was successfully held at the Galaxy International Convention Centre (GICC), Macao, China, on October 26, 2025, from 09:00 to 17:00.
The meeting gathered members of the APSA International Executive Committee, Advisors and Past Presidents, and Chapter Presidents representing India, Nepal, Thailand, Macao, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Vietnam, with Laos joining as an observer.
The session was officially opened by Mr. Jincai Yang, President of APSA International, who delivered the welcoming remarks and highlighted the organization’s continued growth across the Asia-Pacific region.
This was followed by Mr. Norman Ng, Secretary General of APSA International, who presented the annual highlights report and financial summary, reflecting the association’s expanding regional cooperation and engagement efforts.
A key agenda item was the Constitution Review Session, during which Mr. Dino Hindarto, President of APSA Indonesia Chapter, led discussions on the APSA International Chapter Award and the proposed Constitution Addendum for Affiliate Membership. His facilitation received positive attention for providing a balanced framework to encourage broader participation and structured recognition among APSA member chapters.
The AGM also included presentations from each participating country, highlighting key activities and achievements of eight APSA chapters over the past year.
In the closing session, the APSA South Korea Chapter delivered a special address as the official host of the 2026 APSA International AGM, followed by the handover ceremony of the APSA International Flag.
The event concluded with a Token Exchange Ceremony and a Farewell Dinner in the evening, symbolizing unity, friendship, and continued collaboration among member nations.
The 29th APSA AGM reaffirmed APSA’s commitment to advancing regional cooperation, professional development, and sustainable security leadership in the Asia-Pacific region.
